72 www.fondsprofessionell.de | 4/2014 markt & strategie I vermögensverwaltende fonds Portfoliostrategie mit vermögensverwaltenden Fonds Die Frage, welche Charakteristika ein vermögensverwaltender Fonds (VV-Fonds) aufweisen  sollte, ist schwer zu beantworten. Auf Initiative der MMD Multi Manager GmbH hat sich eine Expertenrunde auf die folgende Definition geeinigt: 1. Es muss im Rahmen eines verbindlich definierten Investmentprozesses ein flexibles Asset Manage- ment über mindestens drei Assetklassen (inkl. Cash-Position) stattfinden. 2. Es muss ein Risikomanagement zur Begrenzung des maximalen Verlustes vor- liegen, das einen Kapitalerhalt im Rahmen eines klar definierten Anlagehorizonts anstrebt. 3. Es muss eine unabhängig von Marktindizes gemanagte Anlagestrategie vorliegen. Die Datenbank von MMD enthält neben diesen „Basis-VV-Fonds“ mit  einer „integrierten Asset Allocation“ auch vermögensverwaltend gemanagte Fonds, die sich lediglich auf bestimmte Assetklassen konzentrieren, beispielsweise vermögensverwaltende Aktien- oder Rentenfonds und alternative Investmentfonds (Hedgefonds und Newcits). Die Datenbank umfasst aktuell mehr als 2.000 Produkte, die die Grundlage für die fol- gende Übersicht erfolgreicher vermögensverwaltender Fonds bilden. Unterschieden wer- den grundsätzlich Fonds mit einer Historie von mehr als drei Jahren oder jünger. Auch vermögensverwaltend gemanagte Fonds zeichnen sich durch unterschiedliche Chancen- Risiko-Profile aus. Die Fonds der MMD-Datenbank sind fünf unterschiedlichen Kategorien zugeordnet.
